Peter FarthingWith competitive tennis experience at county level and two years at Temple Junior College, Texas, on a tennis scholarship behind him, Peter began coaching in 1993. He is LTA CCA qualified and currently coaches at Amherst LTC, as well as Sedlescombe LTC, in Hastings.
His interest in human potential led him to become trained as a practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic-Programming (NLP), which provided him with many fascinating insights into the psychology of effective coaching. He is now a qualified Master Practitioner of NLP and Clinical Hypnotherapist and has assisted Paul McKenna Training on hypnosis, NLP practitioner and weight loss training courses.
Although inspired by ‘The Inner Game of Tennis’ a number of years beforehand, a more in-depth study of the concepts began after hearing Sir John Whitmore speak at the BTCA conference in November 2001. Peter’s experiments with the coaching methodology brought immediate results and he started on-going training with Sir John and Caroline Harris the following year. This work evolved into the formation of Inner Works Coaching and a personal commitment to the continued sharing of ever-improving effective coaching practice.

Pablo Giacopelli

03-048 image7Pablo Giacopelli has been a professional tennis coach and most recently has begun working as a coach to those looking to excel in a high performance environment. As a tennis coach, Pablo has had the opportunity to put his philosophy into action and see it bear fruit. His coaching philosophy is centred in helping someone to become the complete person. “Too many coaches focus all their efforts in producing only a top tennis player. This approach in my experience is always found wanting as tennis like life often demands a lot more than just being good at a skill in order to maximise ones potential.”

Each player Pablo has guided and trained on a full time basis has achieved career high rankings as well as record yearly earnings while working with him. This was the case with Catalina Castano, Kaia Kanepi (Quarter-Finalist at Roland Garros), and most recently helping Shahar Peer, who reached a career high ranking of 14 in the world as well as a permanent top 10 position in the yearly race. While he coached these players he helped each of them achieve numerous breakthroughs in their lives, games, and careers, including winning WTA events and defeating several Top 10 players on a regular basis. His coaching skills have also been proven in team situations with him successfully guiding the Estonian Tennis Olympic Team and the Colombian Fed Cup team as team coach on two occasions.

Lately Pablo has begun to transfer what he has learned in his journey as a coach and in life by becoming a coach to people who are involved in high performance environments such as Chief Executives, sports people, actors, and companies who are looking to breakthrough to that next level. His fresh approach, insight, and passion are helping people from all walks of life achieve extraordinary results.
